In order to use the PocketNC you must have taken a training course for the machine first. The first time you run a job, an experienced user of the machine must be present. To qualify for the PocketNC course we will require you to have completed the [[ShopBot]] course, learned to make 3D toolpaths in Fusion360, and successfully compleated at least 5 jobs on the Shopbot using Fusion360. Follow Bitraf's Meetup Group for these courses.

Kommersiell bruk

Dersom man gjør *kommersielle jobber* betaler man 350 NOK/time (+moms) for bruk av PocketNC. Kommersiell jobb betyr at du tjener penger på den. Normalt sett enten en jobb hvor du får betalt for å lage noe eller hvis gjør produksjon av noe du selger eller tjener penger på på andre måter. Dette bidrar til kostnadene ved vedlikehold, samt for å ikke urettferdig konkurrere med andre som leverer CNC tjenester, og at ikke bruken blir monopolisert av noen enkelte som driver gratis masseproduksjon.

Kommersiell bruk betales normalt i Bitmart med kort. Legg inn epost så får du kvittering på epost. Dersom du trenger en faktura, kan du istedet skrive en epost til "kasserer@bitraf.no" hvor du spesifiser antall timer bruk og dato.

  1. Power on, wait for red flashing EStop
  2. Connect air compressor, verify .17 MPa to .20 MPa
  3. Connect USB to laptop
  4. Navigate to http://192.168.7.2
  5. Verify .17 MPa to .20 MPa air pressue on screen.
  6. Inspect cables for pinching, ways for debris.
  7. Press flashing EStop to Solid Red -> ENGAGED
  8. Home All Axis
  9. Warmup Spindle - Takes 10 min if used in last week, 50 minutes if longer.
  10. Press Solid Red EStop to flashing -> DISENGAGED
  • DO NOT USE WATER, COOLANT, OR LUBRICATION FOR CUTTING
  • DO NOT CUT GLASS, CERAMIC, OR STONE.
